I have not been great about posting to the blog. It seems like this is too much technology to keep it straight. However, I did want to post a pic of our newest stars. These little chicks will be in the spotlight with your little one on March 12th. I opened the afternoon for appointments too.

Kreative Kidz, in Plano will host the event.

Lewisville has a quaint little "texas-town" old downtown hidden away from the main roads. It is great to see the historic buildings come to life with new business. I had fun with this family. It is a family I have seen now double since I met them. :) With a little girl on the way in weeks, it was nice to see her big brother in action.

It seems like we life goes crazy, the blog is the first thing to go. It is really too bad because I have some amazing photos from the fall that did not make it to the blog side. So, with my new year's resolution in hand and a few photos from the first session of the year..I am posting for 2010.

Seeing the Alphabet in a Whole New Light

For a Limited Time, I am offering Photo-Graphic Letter Art for the holiday season. As seen on Oprah (I have always wanted to say that), these are original black and white photographs taken by me on one of our family travels. Architectural, nature, and macro photographs offer a new way to see our ABCs. Each photograph represents a letter in the alphabet.

My collection started about three years ago and I have received more requests from friends and clients...so I am sharing them this season. These make great gifts for newlyweds, bosses, the in-laws, teachers, and the list can go on.

Mr. and Mrs. Angelone were wed at Avanti Fountain Place. Our dear weather forecasters predicted a big storm and mother nature did tease a bit during the ceremony with some wind. However, love conquers all.....it was a great wedding and a beautiful couple...loved by many.

Rhonda and Rodney had one of the best first dancing I have seen. It started sweet and slow and jumped right into a groove! Really, that was the way the wedding played out as well. It started very sweet with the bride planning all the small details, the groom moving along with her and by the time the ceremony was over--they were in their groove...Sharing laughs and toasts with friends and family. It is official. The holiday countdown in on! There are less than 100 days to the end of the year.

Family Portrait Weekends are also officially launched. I love this time of year because I get to mingle with new and returning clients. I see how much the kiddos have changed and some of the kids share interesting facts about their family. Don't worry I don't tell.

When you become a parent, I think time speeds up on you. I don't know how ready I am for 2008. I am still trying to type 2007 on all my dates. Thank goodness for auto-date.

We had a fun time at the park with this little one year old. The weather was good to us today for a January day in Texas.

I had a lollipop for a treat today. It worked...very well.

2008 holds so many changes and opportunities for everyone. The year will pass and we will look back and wonder what happened. I think about that when I look at this photo. There are 4 kids with spouses and 9 grandkids. I think about all the things that have changed for each of them over the years and what exciting new adventures for the new year.

I can remember when there were only 2 kids. What a difference a few years can make!!

The Old Dallas Courthouse was the location of the day. The old details that have been brought to life and the excitement of a wedding were a great mix. What a lovely couple! Everyone enjoyed themselves late into the evening and the couple left to a shower of bubbles.

This wedding was in the beautiful Atrium in Dallas. In the evening, all the small lights bring the room to life. The Bride and Groom didnt need them though because they lit the room. A wedding in Cuero was a great adventure. I loved walking the downtown before the wedding. When I found the church on a small county road, I knew I had to have the photo as soon as I saw it. Michael is the Around Town Kids Birthday Winner. This was a wonderful way to spend Saturday morning. Michael, along with his brother and cousin were great to photograph. They were patient and playful. Just the right recipe to get a few good shots! I hope your birthday was a blast. On a side note, my heart breaks for his mother. Beautiful boy now...handsome man later! It is the great pumpkin farm, Charlie Brown. Yes, I am getting ready for high school football games, cooler weather, leaves changing color, and pumpkin patches. Mark the date on your calendar.

Just Snap a Photo

Today I remembered why I love taking photographs. Capturing the little moments. Just a quick little snapshot of how you will remember your children. We played with paint today. I thought I could manage and it under control...soon she and I became the canvas. I have to remind myself to take pictures of my daughter now. Days are so busy and then gone before you realize they're over. I am glad I took the camera out of my bag and captured this moment forever.

Ok, I can't stay away. I am adding the last weekends in September for sessions at the Dallas Arboretum. It is a nice way to spend the morning and then even have a picnic or *tips* let your kids play at the frog fountains.

I will have a 50% discount on the sitting fee and special package pricing. If you book by September 8, 2006 you will receive a complimentary 8x10. Sitting fees must be paid before the session. She turned 3.

I recently had a session with a sweet little 3 year old. She lasted almost 2 hours! What a good girl! She was a lot of fun to play with for the morning.

We met at the Dallas Arboretum. It is absolutley gorgoeous. I had quite a few sessions there this past spring. I realized I do not go there enough. It is a green lush oasis in the middle of a HOT and dry Dallas. Still beautiful in the August.

School is Starting....

...and what does that mean? Really the holidays are not too far behind. I am now starting to get ready for the holidays. I am offering a "Christmas in July & August" for those families wanting to beat the rush. Yes, I said Christmas, it is less than 150 days away. :)

For this promotion, I am taking photos EARLY in the morning on the weekends. By August, I am always ready for fall. Pumpkins, cool nights, the state fair, and the holiday countdown.

The Start of Something New

I am onboard and joined the blog bandwagon. I think this is a great way to capture a little bit of me. Maybe you can see what I see. Each session imprinting on the next. It is really a chain of events in creating and capturing the art of the subject. I look forward to sharing these moments, photos, or just funny little side notes from the wonderful people I meet and that imprint on my heart and soul.
