I just had to share a few moments from a wedding. I am just getting to preview the images from the evening. Wow, did the bride shine! From the first moment I arrived to the end. The wedding surely shared the spirit of the bride and groom as well.

Talkin' about new blooms

A recent session was with a special little guy and his two new parents. What a beautiful little boy. He was a trooper for his first big photo shoot. His parents did well too. :)

New Springtime & Easter Cards

I can not believe it is time for spring and of course daylight savings time. In honor of our long awaited blooms, I am releasing new spring photo card designs. I am getting ready to fill some times and dates still available for spring. Dallas Arboretum here we come!!

Cards are available in 4x6 and 5x7. Some new finishes are available as well.

Photo Tile Jewelry

Art you can wear. Forget your photo wallets. Display your precious child on a photo tile. I am offering a few styles at the moment and plan to release new ones before the end of summer. All tiles are hand made from clay. Necklace and bracelets are available and can be customized with colored crystals of your choice. I use all quality materials so your art piece will wear beautifully. I love the pieces and wear them often. What mother (or grandmother) does not love to look at that sweet face? Look at them often and let your heart melt. :) Remember order early for Mother's Day!!

In Love with Cards

Love is in the air. The florist is busy. Chocolate is leaving the stores like wildfire. Valentine's Day To honor St. Valentine, we are offering mini valentine sessions. These are half hour sessions on location. Your photos can be added to many of the custom card designs we have to offer. Our newest addition this year, is the "bouquet of smiles". This is a collection of custom cards and wallet size photos. A great little treat for family and friends. Grandparents love them!

New Beginnings

My best wishes go out to a few new brides. The holidays are a stressful time to tie to knot and these brides did it with a hitch. The weddings were just as lovely as the brides.

Happy New Year

2007! WOW. The holidays are over and currently ice is falling on the ground (this week anyway) I am ready for this year. Excited about all the new possibilities and people to meet along the way. I hope to share them with you here. I have new specials this year, some include graphic design, scrapbooking, and lots of smiles. :) Look for emails for the updates.

ATK Birthday Winner !

Michael is the Around Town Kids Birthday Winner. This was a wonderful way to spend Saturday morning. Michael, along with his brother and cousin were great to photograph. They were patient and playful. Just the right recipe to get a few good shots! I hope your birthday was a blast. On a side note, my heart breaks for his mother. Beautiful boy now...handsome man later! Girls watch out!

Pumpkin Farm in Celina, TX

It is the great pumpkin farm, Charlie Brown. Yes, I am getting ready for high school football games, cooler weather, leaves changing color, and pumpkin patches. Mark the date on your calendar.

I will set up a location there to shoot complimentary mini sessions. These sessions will last no more than 15 minutes. I am offering cute keepsake collages with your child's photo too.

Just Snap a Photo

Today I remembered why I love taking photographs. Capturing the little moments. Just a quick little snapshot of how you will remember your children. We played with paint today. I thought I could manage and it under control...soon she and I became the canvas. I have to remind myself to take pictures of my daughter now. Days are so busy and then gone before you realize they're over. I am glad I took the camera out of my bag and captured this moment forever.

Dallas Arboretum

Ok, I can't stay away. I am adding the last weekends in September for sessions at the Dallas Arboretum. It is a nice way to spend the morning and then even have a picnic or *tips* let your kids play at the frog fountains.

I will have a 50% discount on the sitting fee and special package pricing. If you book by September 8, 2006 you will receive a complimentary 8x10. Sitting fees must be paid before the session. I will email you with directions, package information, and other session tips once we book the appointment.

She turned 3.

I recently had a session with a sweet little 3 year old. She lasted almost 2 hours! What a good girl! She was a lot of fun to play with for the morning.

We met at the Dallas Arboretum. It is absolutley gorgoeous. I had quite a few sessions there this past spring. I realized I do not go there enough. It is a green lush oasis in the middle of a HOT and dry Dallas. Still beautiful in the August.

School is Starting....

...and what does that mean? Really the holidays are not too far behind. I am now starting to get ready for the holidays. I am offering a "Christmas in July & August" for those families wanting to beat the rush. Yes, I said Christmas, it is less than 150 days away. :)

For this promotion, I am taking photos EARLY in the morning on the weekends. By August, I am always ready for fall. Pumpkins, cool nights, the state fair, and the holiday countdown.

The Start of Something New

I am onboard and joined the blog bandwagon. I think this is a great way to capture a little bit of me. Maybe you can see what I see. Each session imprinting on the next. It is really a chain of events in creating and capturing the art of the subject. I look forward to sharing these moments, photos, or just funny little side notes from the wonderful people I meet and that imprint on my heart and soul.
